These brushes are great! I love them! I am an artist and crafter. I paint a lot all through the year. I am currently using these brushes to paint a large kitchen furniture set - table, sideboard and 6 chairs which have detailed areas and appliques with 4 different colors of paints, 2 colors of wax,and artist's paints. The smallest brush has been ideal for the detail and more. The round brush with the pointed but staggered bristles has been perfect for getting colored waxes into the detail areas. The round brush is a great paint brush for overall painting. I've used these with chalk paint, latex paint and creamy waxes in addition to chalk paste. I have had very minimal loose bristles. I would say maybe 3 or 4 bristles at the most have come loose out of all three brushes in the entire set. I love the size of the handles which fit my small hands. I like the texture of the bristles, the shape of each brush and how easy they are to paint with and clean. Highly recommend. I will buy more.

I have used these for two years for all my chalk paint projects. They have held up better than the more expensive brushes. I always have the best results when I use them to apply chalk paint. I can get into every nook without leaving a glob of paint. The paint is also perfectly blended with no harsh paint strokes. These are the only chalk paint brushes I am buying when they need to be replaced (if they ever do).

They turned out to be extremely well made and held up beautifully despite the punishment they took as I used them to whitewash an enormous rock fireplace. Cleanup was a breeze. I followed the manufacturer's conditioning instructions and the result was that not a single hair was shed. Amazing!

These brushes are amazing! They cover so well! I used them for a chalk paint/wax project. My husband and I each had a different brush to paint the project, he used the large from this set and I used a synthetic angled brush from the big box store. His coverage was so much smoother and opaque. It got in all the corners and groves better than the smaller angled brush.
I used the smaller brush, from this set, to apply clear wax to the top of my project and a dark wax to the bottom and it went on beautifully! I recommend this set!

This is Not the best chalk paint brush out there. It did leave some hair on my furniture while I was paining. In fact, I missed one hair and now my furniture has a permanent brush hair on it and I am very disappointed. I don't really recommend this brush as bristle hair falls off while painting. There are better brushes out there. The wax brush was the same: loosing hairs.

I dunno what the hype is about round brushes - not necessarily streak free - I used for chalk paint and also wax application on my piano update. Bristles stayed put when I washed the tips in my palm- I wrapped in paper towel to keep them trained down. Good price compared to other round brushes, but I really don't know what makes it better than a regular brush.
