Meet DeShaun

Hi Friend!

I’m Deshaun and I just want to say that I am so glad you’re here! I can’t wait to share a little of our day to day happenings at The Yellow Rose Farmhouse. But first, a little about me…

I’m a wife to an incredibly wonderful, handy and handsome man who inspires me daily. Seriously, he really is my better half! I’m also a mama to four crazy kiddos who manage to always keep me on my toes. They are all so very different and unique but I love the heck out of each of them. They are my why!

I’m Texas born and raised. I actually grew up on a small farm just a few miles from here. My grandparents raised me and taught me the importance of following your dreams and the value in family (no matter what that looks like), hard work and finding joy in the simple things.

I love that I get to raise my little family on a small farm just like the one of my childhood. One of my greatest desires is to instill some of those same values while creating a love filled home we can all enjoy together. My hope is that I can use this blog as a platform to help some of you do the same.
